I was really surprised by how clean and modern everything was! Despite the tiny room, I had a comfy three-night stay. Those blackout blinds are like magic for a solid night's sleep.

But honestly, if I trip over the doorframe one more time, I might just start ducking everywhere. And what's the deal with only two laundry machines? It's like a game of musical chairs!

The free coffee near the reception was a great touch! Most notably, the staff were really good, helping me retrieve a special item I accidentally left behind.

Big bed, huge and nice rooms.

Favourable location to Ponto-cho.

Room was right cozy, clean as a whistle, and them blackout blinds worked wonders. Love that free coffee by the lobby too! Staff was so nice, helped us with them suitcases and held on to our bags. Right near all the cute shops and eateries-perfect for our family. No fruit at breakfast though, coulda used that for the kiddos.

The room was well laid out and compact, had a comfortable bed. The location was EXCELLENT and incredible, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Yasaka Shrine.

Convenient place, we did not want to leave there.

Also, location was marvellous and awesome, at walking distance from Nishiki Market Shopping District. It was located walk from a train station giving access to many Kyoto attractions. The staff were kind and wonderful too. Our a double room was wonderful, neat.

If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs to shield against street noise, especially if your room faces the main road.

The noise from the street was unbearable, not at all what I expected for a 'premium' hotel. Plus, staff lacked in helpfulness when we were seeking reservations-just a Google search? I seriously thought an upgrade would be waiting for me but nope, just the same ordinary room. Truly disappointing, I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The Standard Double Room was pretty cozy and clean. The layout worked well, and those blackout blinds helped me sleep like a baby! Plus, the free coffee in the lobby was a nice surprise. Just wish there were more laundry machines. It felt a bit cramped at times with only two available.

The location is unbeatable. The breakfast offered a good mix of Japanese and Western options. Staff provided excellent service, ensuring our room was tidy and well-equipped with necessary amenities. Unfortunately, the noise from the street was quite noticeable, so light sleepers should be prepared.

The hotel is in a prime location, right in the city center with easy access to dining areas and several transport options including bus stops and train stations. The facilities are impressively clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I also loved the free coffee in the lobby, a good perk!
